This month brought the WordPress plugin and moved chatbots to GPT-4.1. The links and files pages now show training progress and can be filtered by status.

New

  • Install and set up your chatbot from your WordPress admin with the SiteGPT WordPress plugin. See Add the chatbot to your website.
  • The dashboard has an installation page with steps for each website platform.
  • The links and files pages show training stats for your content.
  • Filter the links and files pages by status.
  • A background jobs indicator on the links page shows content that is still processing.
  • Translate the labels in the widget’s top menu in the localization settings. See Change the widget language and text.

Improved

  • Chatbots now answer with GPT-4.1 instead of GPT-4o, with updated default instructions. See Choose a model.
  • The widget stays open when a visitor reloads the page, and it shows the same conversation.
  • The widget shows its bottom tabs only when there is more than one tab.
  • The settings pages warn you before you leave with unsaved changes.
  • The chatbot dashboard has new stats cards and better guidance when you have no links or files yet.
  • The chatbot instructions settings have clearer text.
  • You can no longer add links or set a crawl size above your remaining quota.

Fixed

  • The widget no longer redirects the wrong way when visitors must enter their details first.
  • Deleting the instructions a chatbot uses no longer causes an error.
  • Fixed problems on the conversation page in chat history.
  • Fixed number fields in dashboard forms.
  • Tooltips now work after you resize the window, and a dismissed tooltip stays dismissed.
  • Fixed the header layout on the Q&A page.
