April gave developers more control over the chat widget. You can now open, close, and toggle the chat from your own code, and hide the floating chat button.

  • Open, close, or toggle the chat window from your own code with window.$sitegpt.push(['open']), window.$sitegpt.push(['close']), and window.$sitegpt.push(['toggle']). See Widget SDK.
  • Add hideBubble=true to the embed code to load the chat without the floating chat button. Use it with your own button. See Embed code options.
