The Leads Dashboard lists every lead your chatbot collects. Use it to find a lead, read the conversation behind it, and keep the list organized. To set up how leads are collected, see Collect leads from conversations.

Before you start

  • Plan: any plan. See Plans and limits.
  • Role: any team role can view, star, archive, and delete leads. To use Delete all visitor data, you need the Manager role or higher. See Team members.

Find a lead

1

Open the leads list

In your chatbot’s sidebar, select Leads > Leads Dashboard. The Overview tab opens.
2

Filter the list

Open the filter menu and select a filter. The list shows Open leads by default.
3

Search

In Search leads…, type part of a name or an email address.
To go back to all leads, select Clear Filters.

Star, archive, or delete leads

On a lead’s row, open the menu and select an action:
  • Mark as Important stars the lead. Unmark as Important removes the star.
  • Mark as Archived moves the lead out of the Open list. Mark as Unarchived brings it back.
  • Delete lead removes the lead. You must confirm. You cannot undo it.
To act on many leads at the same time, select the check boxes next to the leads. Then select an action in the bar that appears.

Open a lead

Select a lead to open Lead Details. It shows:
  • The email, phone number, and your custom fields, including the page the visitor was on.
  • Captured At: when the lead was collected.
  • Conversations: the visitor’s conversations with the chatbot.
Select a conversation to open it in Chat History. There you can read the full conversation and reply. See Reply to visitors and take over conversations. Select See all conversations to list every conversation from this visitor.

Export leads to CSV

1

Set the filter and search

Choose the filter and search that you want. The export uses them.
2

Export

Select Export CSV.
The browser downloads a file named sitegpt-leads-<chatbot ID>-<date>.csv. It has these columns: The export has no date range. It includes every lead that matches the current filter and search. The Export CSV button shows only when the chatbot has at least one lead.

Delete a lead or all of a visitor’s data

A lead’s detail page has two delete options. They remove different data. Both options ask you to confirm. You cannot undo either one. Delete Visitor Data is also in the conversation menu in Chat History. Use it for a visitor who has no lead record.

Check that it works

  • After you archive a lead, it leaves the Open list and shows under Archived.
  • After you export, the CSV file opens with one row for each lead that matched your filter and search.
  • After you delete a lead record, the lead leaves the list, and its conversations stay in Chat History.
