Getting started with SiteGPT

1. Create your chatbot

Sign in and create a new chatbot. Give it a name and pick the model that fits your use case; you can change both later. Every plan comes with a 7-day free trial, so you can build and test the full experience before choosing a paid plan.

2. Train it on your content

Add a website URL to crawl your pages automatically, or bring in a sitemap, help center, files, YouTube, GitHub, or cloud storage like Google Drive and Notion. SiteGPT trains on 12+ sources and indexes everything, so the chatbot answers from your knowledge base instead of guessing. Auto-sync keeps that content fresh as your product changes.

3. Customize and test

Set the greeting, colors, logo, and language to match your brand. Use the Persona and Custom Instructions fields to shape how the chatbot replies, then ask a few real questions in the preview to confirm the answers look right. Anything it cannot answer confidently is a signal to add content and retrain.

4. Embed it on your site

Copy the embed snippet and drop it into your site to add the chat widget, or install the WordPress plugin. The widget matches the branding you set, so it looks native out of the box.
